Policies & Care
Deposit & Payment
A $50 deposit per goose is due at the time of purchase to reserve your spot in the production queue. The remaining balance is due at delivery or pickup.
Refunds & Returns
Custom & made-to-order geese: You can cancel for a full deposit refund any time before Gelso finalizes your purchase. Once your purchase is finalized, the deposit is non-refundable and finished custom geese cannot be returned, since each one is made specifically for you. Standard & in-stock items (3D-printed items, bandanas, clothing): May be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and in original condition. Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the item was defective or we made an error. Refunds are issued to your original payment method once we receive and inspect the returned item. Damaged or defective on arrival: Every delivery is photographed at hand-off to document its condition. If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 24 hours with photos and we will make it right with a repair, replacement, or refund. Damage after delivery: Once a goose has been delivered and accepted in good condition, we are not responsible for later damage (for example, a cracked neck). See our neck-repair video, and reach out any time for paid touch-ups or resealing. Delivery fees: Delivery charges are non-refundable once your order has been delivered or a delivery attempt has been made. Events & camps: Registrations are fully refundable if cancelled 7 or more days before the event. Within 7 days of the event, we are happy to apply your payment as credit toward a future event. Gift cards and clearance / final-sale items: Non-refundable. How to request a refund: Email us at gelsosgeese@gmail.com with your order number and any relevant photos. Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.
Custom Design Fee
Our standard designs (Original, Canadian, Flamingoose, and more) carry no design fee. If you customize your own colors, a $20-40 design fee applies, determined when Gelso finalizes your purchase.
Care Instructions
Your concrete goose is built to live outdoors for years. Rinse it with a hose and mild soap whenever it needs freshening up. In freezing climates, we recommend bringing smaller geese indoors or covering them over winter, since water can seep into concrete and expand. Touch-up paint and resealing are available on request โ just reach out!
Damage & Neck Repair
Necks are the most delicate part of a concrete goose. If yours is damaged after it leaves us, don't worry โ watch our neck repair video for an easy fix, or reach out and we'll help.
